Just like its predecessor, the Powertec Compact Leg Sled remains one of the most compact leg press machines on the market today. New features come in the shape of an improved safety lock for smoother gliding and easier assembly, a new and improved ergonomic locking pop pin for backrest and footplate adjustments, a wider foot platform, angled weight horns and a new range limiter peg that allows the user to control the stop position. The carriage holds eight wheels that hug the solid steel guide rods preventing lateral movement and providing a precise, smooth motion from top to bottom. The seat and adjustable back pad along with the adjustable angle foot plate and hand grips lock the user into the perfect position to perform the exercise, alleviating stress on the lower back. The design of the carriage and the seat section allow for a leg sled that is significantly for compact than any other in its class. An adjustable and removable foot tube is also included for calf raise exercises that can be stowed underneath the footplate when not in use. Weight plates sold separately.
