Sissy squats primarily target the quads, achieving near to 100% isolation, but also work the hip flexors, increase core strength and improve balance. Powertec’s Sissy Squat Pro places less stress on other muscles and joints for a movement that’s considered safer than traditional squats and leg extensions. With the Sissy Squat Pro, you’re able to lean back securely without fear of falling over or disrupting your posture. The knee pad and ankle pads on the Sissy Squat Pro are both adjustable, making it easy for you to find the ideal position that locks your feet securely into position. There are six knee pad settings, with the highest being 20.75” / 52.7 cm from the footplate. The ankle pad has 8 different settings, creating a gap from the knee pad that’s as little as 0.5” / 1.27 cm or as large as 6” / 15.24 cm. The ankle pad is what keeps you locked in place, so should be kept as tight as possible. The Sissy Squat Pro has space for resistance band pegs to be added at the rear of the frame for extra resistance during your squats (band pegs and bands not included). The front of the Sissy Squat Pro has two small wheels, meaning you can move it around the gym floor without having to carry it.
